Zakat al-Fitr is what a Muslim is obliged to pay because he was unable to fast. It benefits the poor, so that all Muslim homes will rejoice on the day of Eid. You will be rewarded for them by the will of God - a reward for fasting and a reward for feeding the needy, and we in Al-Nouri Charity will deliver your zakat to those who deserve it, and put it where it benefits the poor, the orphans and the weak.
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him, he said, “The obligation of peace and blessings be upon him - Zakat al-Fitr is a purification from the fasting of idle and ritual, and a meal for the poor” [Narrated by Abu Dawood and Ibn Majah]
