The concept of endowment :

Endowment is the confinement of the asset and the granting of benefit. It is considered a permanent donation and ongoing charity that a person endows during his life, and from its proceeds is spent on good and charitable causes, and its reward continues for as long as God wills, which increases the benefit and the ongoing reward for the donor, and ensures the continuation of spending on the recipient.

Endowment is the true charitable investment that you make in this world to sustain you in the afterlife. Islam has encouraged endowment to the point that some scholars stated that none of the Companions did not endow it.

The idea of sacrificial endowment:

The idea of this endowment depends on reserving the endowment’s money as an asset. The asset is invested and the Authority spends its proceeds on the purposes of this endowment.

The goal of the Sacrifice Endowment:

The “Sacrifice” Endowment aims to revive the ritual of sacrifice, and to create a permanent resource to provide relief to the poor and needy who do not find food for their daily lives, and do not obtain meat except through the sacrifice.

God Almighty said: (So eat from it and feed the needy and needy) Al-Hajj: 28.

God Almighty said: (Indeed, We have given you Al-Kawthar. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice) Al-Kawthar: 1,2.

On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “No deed done by the son of Adam on the Day of Sacrifice is more beloved to God than shedding blood, and on the Day of Resurrection it will be brought with its horns, hairs, and hoofs, and the blood will fall from God in a place before it falls on the ground.” So they made their souls happy with it.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.

With this endowment, it has become easy for every person standing to perform an Islamic ritual, as it is a Sunnah confirmed by the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and it is the ritual of sacrifice during the days of the blessed Eid al-Adha. It is also a door of goodness, bringing reward, and providing relief to the poor and needy who cannot find food for the day or They obtain meat only through this ritual. The “Sacrifice” Endowment contributed to slaughtering and distributing sacrifices to the needy inside and outside Kuwait.

Based on the words of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: “The most beloved of deeds to God is the joy that He brings to a Muslim,” the International Islamic Charitable Organization, through the proceeds of the Sacrifice Endowment, implements the sacrifice project on behalf of the donors, considering the proceeds as a contribution to a sacrifice every year on behalf of the donor, and the meat is distributed to Widows, orphans, the poor, and needy Muslims, in order to bring joy to their souls during the Eid.
